Western Electric IE3 Industrial Electric Motors

Asynchronous low voltage three-phase Western Electric IE3 IEC TEFC Squirrel-Cage Motors Type 3A (aluminum) and 3D (cast iron).

Western Electric IE3 Electric Motors are manufactured according to the efficiency class system specified under IEC 60034-30. With a proven quality, high reliability and performance, Western Electric IE3 is the Electrical Motor of the future.

Technical information

Western Electric IE3 Motors are supplied in 3D type cast iron execution from frame size 160 to 400. All Western Electric IE3 Motors in cast iron are provided with NSK bearings. Western Electric IE3 Motors from frame size 63 to 132 are supplied in 3A type aluminum with NSK bearings. Motors in size ≤ 180 are with closed bearings greased for life.

Western Electric IE3 3A and 3D Motors are provided with blind caps in all supply connections.

All Western Electric IE3 Motors are as standard IP55, prepared for drain holes and painted COD 6002 leaf green.

380-400V Y – Western Electric IE3 Motors ≤ 3 kW
380-400V Δ – Western Electric IE3 Motors ≥ 3 kW
